Brilliant to see so many SandyHanders this morning, with their older brothers, sisters, mums and dads. It was lovely to meet those of you who were on holiday for half-term, I hope you liked our beach and will come back again next time you have a holiday.
Today we caught some Blennys.
Blennys are very clever fish, can you remember what we learnt about them?
They can camouflage themselves.
They can 'stand up'
They can survive out of water for a day!
You made some fabulous sand sculptures. Look at this one made by Amelia and Josh!
Great scavenging everyone - all those 'treasures' made brilliant Jam jar aquariums.
After all that hunting, you created some chalk-tastic 'wall-art'.
Enjoy the rest of your half-term.
Look forward to seeing some little SandyHanders on Tuesday 25th February for some Rock-star fun!
