Here are the SandyHanders holding on tightly to their racing plaice.
Which fish looks the fastest?
These plaice are excellent swimmers, they made it all the way down the stream and into the sea!
Look what we caught with our fishing rods - cockle-fish ready to put in jam jar aquariums. To make the aquariums cosy for the cockle-fish we added sand, shells, pebbles and even seaweed. Don't they look great!
On Thursday it was really windy, perfect weather for flying kites!
We needed a rest after all that running around, phew. Look at these lovely shell-fish pictures we made in the sand, aren't you all very clever?
It looks like it's going to be windy again next Tuesday so bring your own kite if you have one. Look forward to seeing you.
See you soon!
