That was brilliant, even the sunshine joined in this morning!
We met today's 'rock' Star, a star that is a bit strange, so strange it can eat with it's bottom and poo with it's mouth!!!! Ewwwwwwww!
Starfish, which aren't fish at all, they are echinoderms if you like big words, anyway, they are clever things. Did you know, if a starfish loses one of its legs, which is a very careless thing to do, it can just regrow another one?
That is clever!
Today's trail that we followed was very clever too, it glowed in the dark! It had to glow because we were very brave and hunted for stars in the dark, dark 'cave'.
How many stars did you find today?
Don't the glow-starfish look amazing on the treasure tree in the BeachHut?
Today is a special day, not just because it's a SandyHands day, it's also called Shrove Tuesday or Pancake day.
We made starfish pancakes and used our spades as frying pans so that we could toss the pancakes.
Well, the tide is coming in, hope to see you next week, you'll meet Harry the Hermit Crab, he needs our help, he's moving house. And you'll be able to build your own houses too.
SandyHands Help Harry move House - Tuesday 3rd March 10am SandyHands BeachHut, Coppet Hall, Saundersfoot.
